Tendaba Camp

Tendaba Camp is a long-standing and well-regarded eco-lodge located on the south bank of the Gambia River, approximately 15-20 km (straight line) east-northeast of Mutaro Kunda Forest Park. It serves as a primary base for birdwatching and exploring the diverse riverine ecosystems and nearby wildlife areas in the Lower River Region, offering boat excursions and guided walks. While not directly adjacent to the park, it is the closest established camp catering to nature tourists in the broader region.
