Driving Routes
From Kuala Lumpur
Direct drive via the East Coast Expressway (E8) to Kuala Terengganu or Kota Bharu, then onward to the respective jetties for island transfers. We prefer the drive to Merang for the Perhentians.
From Singapore
A longer drive, but scenic. Head north through Malaysia via the North-South Expressway and then connect to the East Coast Expressway. Consider breaking the journey in Kuantan.
