Frazer Lake Bear Viewing Cabin (USFWS)
This public use cabin, managed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, offers a more independent and budget-friendly bear viewing experience within the Kodiak National Wildlife Refuge. Guests must be self-sufficient and arrange their own transport, but it provides incredible opportunities to observe Kodiak brown bears, especially during salmon runs.
