Driving Routes
From Guayaquil
The most straightforward route involves taking the E15 coastal highway north. Roads are generally good, but traffic can be heavy leaving Guayaquil. We recommend starting your drive early to avoid the worst congestion.
From Machala
If you are coming from the south, Machala is a good jumping off point. The drive along the coast is scenic, passing through banana plantations and small fishing villages.
